Election of NSB Board of Directors
Farmers in the eight soybean-producing districts elect farmers to serve voluntarily on the NSB. One farmer leader is elected to an at-large position. Directors serve three-year terms. Farmers elect fellow farmers for three of the positions each July. Farmers in those districts involved in the election will receive notice of the election and their ballots by mail during the election period. NSB announces election results in August and elected farmer-directors begin their terms October 1.
Farmers interested in running for a board position must complete the appropriate forms and collect 50 farmer-signatures in their district. To request additional information on becoming an NSB director, call Victor Bohuslavsky at 402-432-5720.
