The Nebraska Soybean Board (NSB) is currently requesting project proposals for fiscal year (FY) 2024 which starts October 1, 2023 and ends September 30, 2024. All project proposals need to be submitted to the Nebraska Soybean Board office no later than May 12, 2023. The Nebraska Soybean Board will take action on FY24 projects at their board meeting in June of 2023. Final approval will take place at their September 2023 board meeting. Proposals will also be accepted up until the September board meeting, if necessary.
NSB is an organization that represents the interests of soybean farmers in the state of Nebraska. Our focus areas of investment are:
- Farmer Support: NSB shares ideas and information to support, encourage and build value for Nebraska soybean farmers.
- Production & Crop Research: NSB invests in research to improve soybean yields, pest and disease management and other areas of soybean production.
- Demand & Utilization: NSB works to promote the use of soybeans in a variety of markets, including food, feed and industrial uses.
- Community Engagement: NSB provides educational resources and outreach programs to farmers, industry professionals and the general public to increase awareness of the benefits of soybeans.
The Nebraska Soybean Board will make funding decisions based upon proposals matching and aligning with their current strategic plan, mission and vision.
