The Young Leader program, sponsored by Corteva Agriscience and the American Soybean Association (ASA), is a leadership development program for young soybean farmers and industry professionals. The program is designed to help participants develop the skills and knowledge they need to become effective leaders in their communities and within the soybean industry. Participants in the program attend several training sessions throughout the year, which cover topics such as communication, advocacy, and policy development. They also have the opportunity to participate in networking events and to meet with industry leaders and policymakers. Additionally, the program includes a mentorship component, where participants are paired with experienced industry leaders to help them gain additional knowledge and insight. The goal of the program is to help participants become more effective leaders in their communities and within the soybean industry, and to help support the long-term sustainability of the soybean industry.
