Wesley Wach, Nebraska Soybean Board demand and utilization coordinator discusses the DustLock™ Matching Funds Program. The program will provide a funds match of up to $10,000 for each applicant or location looking to improve road conditions.

Terri Zimmerman, director of education and outreach for the Nebraska Soybean Board reviews last week's 2023 Nebraska FFA State Convention. Held the last week in March this year, more than 7,600 FFA members traveled from all corners of the state to Lincoln to attend, and 687 students received their State FFA Degrees during the event.


Mike Tomes, farmer and Nebraska Soybean Board district director from Utica reviews last week's research meeting. NSB reviews production and crop research proposals for the upcoming fiscal year.

Steve Martin, Executive Director of the Alliance for the Future of Agriculture in Nebraska (AFAN) talks about what they have been doing and brings an update on the Nebraska poultry industry. AFAN is an alliance of leading commodity organizations in Nebraska working together to advance livestock development within the state.

Greg Anderson, Newman Grove farmer and district director on the Nebraska Soybean Board reviews last week's Commodity Classic. Total attendance this year was 9,120 with 4,528 of those being farmer attendees. 72% of those farmers find Commodity Classic to be the most valuable event they attend all year.

Jason Penke, farmer from Craig and district director on the Nebraska Soybean Board, reviews the recent See for Yourself tour. A group of 12 Nebraska soybean producers visited the Pacific Northwest to gain a better understanding of the commodity supply chain and checkoff investments.

Anne Meis, Elgin farmer and district director on the Nebraska Soybean Board, recaps the recent Women in Ag Conference held in Kearney. Anne was featured as a keynote speaker this year to share her story elevate the united voice for agriculture.

Tony Johanson, farmer and United Soybean Board (USB) director from Oakland recaps the recent United Soybean Board meeting. Tony is the Supply Action Team Lead for USB's priority area of Infrastructure and Connectivity. Learn more at unitedsoybean.org.
